My Week Where None Of My Problems Really Mattered

2 Flares 2 Flares ×

For the past few weeks on Sunday I’ve been sharing my funny (I hope) problems from the week. Mostly to show that they weren’t problems at all. And I plan to be back next week with more first world problems. But today, well…that just seemed silly. Even more silly than I normally intend. Last week ended with tragedy and  just this once being silly doesn’t feel quite right. Please visit The Fred Rogers Company website for more information on how you can talk with children about scary events.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.

  1. I enjoy your first world problems post and totally get it. I also don’t feel like a funny post this week feels right. I look forward to it next week. <3

  2. Until next week!
