English Toffee Bark {Sweet Creations}

Festive holiday English Toffee Bark is delicious and so easy to make.
Sweet Creations by Good Cook has everything you  need to create beautiful and tasty gifts for Christmas.
The brittle and bark mold comes with a recipe for Peppermint Bark, but I wanted to try something a little different.
I melted three cups of chocolate chips (half milk, half semi-sweet) in a microwave safe bowl. I used half power, stirring every minute until everything was fully melted. Add two teaspoons of vegetable oil to the melted chocolate.

Milk chocolate toffee bits make this so easy!

Just add the chocolate to the silicone brittle and bark mold. I find it helpful to pick up and drop the mold a few times on the table to make sure the chocolate fills the entire mold smoothly. Then just sprinkle the top with the toffee bits! Place in the freezer until everything is set.
Once the chocolate hardens remove it from the freezer and take it out of the mold. (Don’t leave the chocolate in the freezer too long…you don’t want it to get so cold that condensation becomes a problem.)
Break apart the bark and serve!
Or use the festive parchment paper and gift envelopes from Sweet Creations to make delicious gifts!
