Halloween Unjunked

I love Halloween and all that it entails. (OK, I don’t love haunted houses. Especially the ones where they try to grab you-I do not respond well to strangers grabbing me. But that’s another story…) Halloween obviously means candy. And lots of it. I’m OK with that. I’m MORE than OK with that. I think a treat here and there is a good thing!
Of course one thing we all know…there can be too much of a good thing. (Well, too much bad stuff in a good thing.) That’s where Unreal Candy comes in. It starts with all of that good stuff you love about candy like chocolate, caramel, and peanuts. Then it takes all of that bad stuff out like corn syrup, preservatives, artificial colors and GMOs.
Unreal is on a mission to unjunk your candy. I started at my office with a mid-day unjunking party. (I work in an office full of women…if you feed them they will come…)

In addition to sharing gift bags with full size samples of Unreal candy I created a cupcake and sundae bar full of treats from Unreal. The first thing everyone noticed were the colors of Unreal 54 and 41. Those candy coated chocolates did not look like the ones everyone was used to eating. (They were actually quite pretty, just not the bright colored shells they expected.) I explained that they were different in color because of the natural dyes. They’re colored with beetroot juice, turmeric root extract and purple cabbage juice. OK, I know what you’re thinking…but they tasted great. You’re not eating beet candy. Promise!

Since everyone who stopped by asked me where they could buy Unreal Candy I’m pretty sure it was a hit. And in case you’re wondering where you can buy Unreal Candy you can find out here. I think my favorite is the Unreal 5. Chocolate, caramel, nougat? What’s not to like?

It’s also a sweet 100 calories less than a Milky Way. If I knock on your door this Halloween I’ll happily take any Unreal 5s you have off your hands…
