Mummy Candy Bar Bites

Mummy Candy Bar Bites

I feel like I’ve been giving all of my attention lately to Halloween crafts. That won’t do. We can’t forget the Halloween food, right? I mean food is half of the Halloween fun. Especially the Halloween candy!

Crescent Rolls

You’ve probably seen the adorable Mummy Dogs on Pinterest. They inspired my own mummy-themed dessert! Grab some of your favorite Halloween candy bars and you can make these mummy candy bar bites!

Mummy Candy Bar Bites
Ingredients
  • Mini Candy Bars
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • Candy Eyes
Instructions
  1. Unroll crescent rolls.
  2. Cover each mini candy bar in a thin layer of crescent roll dough.
  3. Use a pizza cutter to cut the remaining dough into thin strips.
  4. Wrap strips of dough around each covered candy bar.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Covered CandyYou’ll want to cover each candy bar with a thin covering of crescent roll dough. This will keep the candy from melting out of your mummy too much while baking. Crescent StripsCreate strips of crescent dough to wrap around your covered candy bar. Mummied CandyOnce each bar is covered and wrapped, bake them at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.  Candy MummyCandy eyes finish off the mummy. You can press them into place, or adhere them with a little melted chocolate.
Mummy Candy Bar Bites
Despite your best attempts, some candy is going to escape while you bake. Trust me when I say that is the best part. Mummy Candy Bar Bites 2You’ll want to serve your candy bar mummy bites while warm. Although I’m sure no one would turn one down after it’s cooled. Mummy CandyYou can use almost any candy bars to make your mummies. Why not buy a variety bag and see which ones you like best?
