I really love my Galaxy S3. (That, despite the S4 meaning I now have the “old phone”.) But suddenly this week it’s become the most annoying phone ever. It’s started talking to me. Not in a Siri sort of way. (Which it already did, if I wanted it, via S Voice.) No, it’s telling me everything that’s going on. Despite what ring tone I might have for a person it will say, “Call from name of person.” Send me a text? “Message from name of person.” Send me an email? “One new email.” (I guess emails don’t get the personal touch of telling me who they’re from.) If I’m on the other side of the room I suppose knowing who is calling is nice so I know if I want to grab my phone or let it go to voice mail. The email notifications are where it gets really annoying. (I get a lot of emails.) Now I know you’re saying I should turn off the notifications. Here’s what’s weird. I have. Notifications are off. My phone doesn’t care. It still announces every call, text and email.
Remember my new fabulous magenta Coach bag? That was actually my second bag. The first one I ordered came with a nick in the leather. I returned it, bought a new one. All was well. For exactly one week. On Friday I was leaving work and pulled out my keys. That’s when I noticed about a forth of the lining had torn away from the zipper. After one week of use the lining was destroyed. Needless to say, it’s going back. I’m going to try one more time to get the same bag and hopefully it will be intact and won’t fall apart a week later. (If something happens to this one I’m going to assume that I just wasn’t meant to own this bag.)
Last Sunday I went for a pedicure. I made it exactly three days until I had a chip in one of my nails. Four days until I had another. I can normally go about two weeks on a pedicure without a chip. This time? Not so much. (Is this the universe telling me to go get another pedicure? Because if it is I’m totally OK with that.)
And finally, in First World Problems to come: Some blogging friends recommended I start a linky for other First World Problems. Linkys scare me. What if no one links up? Then it will be here forever, link-less and I’ll look all silly for thinking people wanted to link up their posts. So prove me wrong. Write a First World Problems post this week and link up. I’ll be waiting…
