I might be repeating myself here, and if I am, please indulge me. Original Skittles are the best. Other packs might get the job done and can certainly be considered tasty, but they’re not original red bagged Skittles. I don’t often feel stabby. (And usually when I do it’s hormonally induced stabbiness. I will warn you.) There are two things that will easily talk me down from my knife wielding tendencies. Diet Coke and Skittles. Those two things together? Everything is peace and love. So why does the vending machine at work only carry Wild Berry Skittles? I mean…they’re…alright. I guess. But they only have a 75% chance of reducing stabbiness. Is that a risk my place of work should be willing to take? (And if you’re about to suggest I should just buy my Skittles elsewhere…is that the kind of comment you want to make to someone who’s still get another day before her hormones level off to a low-stab threshold?)
It’s also hit me-hard-that BlogHer is now less than a month away. On the one hand I’m super stoked. I get to spend almost five days with some of the coolest chicks I know. I have really great schedule lined up. It’s going to be amazing! On the other hand, do you know how unlike me it is to not have my suitcase already out for something like this? I haven’t even started to pack. (Yes, I take a month to pack for a conference. What of it?) I also need to get up my necklace giveaway like last year’s and take and make the orders for anyone who wants to purchase one. I’m going to set a firm deadline this year for orders. (I might even stick to it…)
I’m also ready to start another juice detox. I’ve now purchased fruits and veggies twice that have gotten thrown out. Life has just been too darn busy for me to juice. (Have you ever cleaned a juicer? It’s not fun. At all.) But I’m going to do it this week. I hope. Which means, seriously, now is the time they’ll put original red bagged Skittles in the vending machine at work. I just know it.
