Red White & Blue Chocolate Bark

Easy to make Red, White & Blue Chocolate Bark is the perfect treat for your 4th of July party! Need an easy sweet treat for your 4th of July celebration? How about this Red White and Blue Chocolate Bark? It only takes a few minutes to make. Just remember to make plenty of it-it’s sure to go fast! Double BoilerMelt the chocolate chips of your choice (I used milk chocolate) in a double boiler. I promise you have something you can use in your house to create a double boiler. My everyday bowls fit perfectly over my 2 quart sauce pan. Just fill the sauce pan halfway with water and set it on the stove. Put the chocolate in the bowl and place it over the pan. The heat from the boiling water will melt the chocolate without burning it. Stir until the chocolate is smooth.

Spread the chocolate on a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and then place in the freezer until hard. This should only take a few minutes.

Now melt your white chocolate chips in a different bowl. Spread the white chocolate on top of the hardened chocolate from step one. Do not overwork the white chocolate or the chocolate below will start to melt through.

Cover with red, white and blue sprinkles and place back in the freezer until hard. Easy to make Red, White & Blue Chocolate Bark is the perfect treat for your 4th of July party! Break into pieces and your bark is ready to serve! Remember, chocolate melts at body temperature, so avoid handling the bark too much when you’re breaking it up.

Happy 4th of July!
