I need to confess something. I’m a gadgetaholic. (And yes, that’s totally a thing.) I must have my smartphone within easy reach at all times. (Seriously-whenever I leave home and I’ve forgotten my phone it makes me all twitchy until I get it in my hands again.) Another thing you should know is that I’m a total Samsung groupie. Take a look in my house and it becomes obvious. My washer and dryer, my televisions, my camera and (yes, of course) my phone are all from Samsung. Hey, I know what I like…
One of the things I love about Samsung products is how well they work with each other. I’m currently using the Samsung Galaxy S 3. With my new Galaxy Tab 3 I can move seamlessly from my phone to my tablet. The content syncs automatically. It’s practically automagical! (Yes-that’s a word. I just made it up.)
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is light and sleek, yet still manages to give you a 10.1″ screen with 1280 x 800 p resolution. It runs on the Android Jelly Bean system and has front (1.3 MP) and rear (3.2 MP) cameras. It comes with 16 GB of memory, but that’s totally expandable with the microSD slot. And it’s fast. It runs on a 1.6GHz Dual Core; Intel® Atom™ Processor Z2560. Yep-it has Intel inside, just like your favorite laptop.
So how did I get so smart about the Galaxy Tab 3? Easy…I went to Best Buy. I don’t know about your Best Buy but my Best Buy has the Samsung Experience Shop inside. That means there are super helpful and highly trained Samsung Experience Consultants and Best Buy Blue Shirts are ready to assist you. Or not. One of the things I love about Best Buy is that when you tell them you’re just looking they leave you alone. (There’s one electronics store I just won’t visit because the sales people follow me around and keep asking me questions and being generally pushy. No es bueno…)
So when I had a chance to visit my local Best Buy I got the chance to look (and drool over the potential new lenses for my Samsung NX1100) without being harassed. But when I was ready with my questions they were ready to give me answers.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is the perfect tool for staying connected on the go. You know those times when you sort of need your laptop but you don’t want to deal with carrying around your laptop? That’s what this is perfect for! It’s Bluetooth enabled which means I can sync it up with a wireless keyboard and it’s basically like having a tiny, lightweight laptop with me wherever I take it. Did I mention yet that it only weights 1.1 lbs? When I say it’s lightweight I mean it. Well, with one exception. The processor is anything but lightweight. The Intel® Atom™ Processor Z2560 means you’re going to get crazy long battery life and amazingly fast performance.
And let’s talk more about the cameras. (Thats my backyard, taken with the rear camera on the Tab.) With both front and rear facing cameras you’re set for all of your Instagraming and selfie needs. Not to mention staying connected with Google Hangouts, Skype…or whatever video sharing app is your favorite. (I even have a quick video at the end of the post so you can see even MORE of my backyard thanks to the Galaxy Tab 3!)And speaking of apps…this is a screenshot of what’s already loaded and ready to go on your Galaxy Tab 3 out of the box. But you have access to the entire Google Play Store. That’s over one milllllllion apps for you to try.
So ready to get your own Galaxy Tab 3 10.1? Visit your local Best Buy. You’ll totally get the best deal because they price match their competitors. (You know, if you actually do manage to find a better deal somewhere.) Find out more about Intel Tablets and stay in touch on Twitter and Facebook. (Don’t forget to connect with Best Buy on Twitter and Facebook, too!)
