When I first moved into my house I had no problem filling up the rooms with furniture and accessories. My walls, however, were bare for an embarrassingly long time. I had a horrible time finding art that I liked. It also never failed that the art that I liked was the completely wrong size for the space where I wanted to put it.
The space in my upstairs landing would have been difficult, too, if I hadn’t found Gallery Direct. It’s a huge wall and it needed something large.
I had fallen in love with Fjord by Bailey on one of my first visits to the Gallery Direct site. Unfortunately I couldn’t think of anywhere to put it. When I looked at his other work, however, I found Sahar. The reds and browns were perfect for my landing and this 47 x 24 piece was a perfect fit. That’s why the sizing options for all of Gallery Direct’s artwork are perhaps my favorite feature of the site.
