Abby Ryder-Fortson plays Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Abby joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe at just 6 years old and she’s been acting since she was 3!
When we met on the set, I asked if she wanted to be an Avenger, just like Cassie Lang in the comics. If she was, she’d want her super power to be invisibility. “I like sneaking up on people.”
Working on Ant-Man and the Wasp has been a homecoming. “It’s nice knowing everybody… Almost everybody’s back from Ant-Man 1, and it feels better knowing everybody.”

What does she do when she’s not acting? “I love playing sports, and I also like reading.”
Although making a movie is hard work, they still have fun. “They literally built a maze, and then we got to slide down on a toboggan,” says Abby. She was also a lot better at that maze than Paul Rudd. “I got through them so easily… After like the fifth shot of doing it, he was tired of doing it, he was, like, ‘Oh my God, we’re doing this again?'”
