The Avengers will always have a special place in my heart. They were the first stars I met during a press junket. Also known as “OMG, I’M IN THE SAME ROOM WITH THOR AND CAPTAIN AMERICA”. But even if I hadn’t heard Chris Hemsworth use his Thor voice in person-even though I totally did-I would still love MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’s a great movie! And…it’s out now on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Oh, and I also had a personal conversation with James Spader. Granted, it was only two sentences. But it still is worth mentioning. Specifically to annoy my friend who is his number one fan. Oh hai, Summer! 
The Avengers make for the perfect group Halloween costume theme. They’re also a perfect theme for a Halloween party. Just look at how many are named after creepy-crawly type things, right?
The costume department is the place to hit for your party decor. Candy buckets are perfect to hold candy. (Obviously.) But they can do that on your party table in addition to heading out the door for trick-or-treating. Accessories like shields and hammers? Consider them party table bling. 
My personal pride and joy is this Arc Reactor chip bowl. I’m no Tony Stark, but I think it’s pretty awesome. I mean, it actually lights up. Does your chip bowl do that? Exactly. But it can. I promise to share full details on how to make this soon! 
Every party needs a signature drink. I am digging my “Gamma Bombs”. It’s really just citrus soda with a drop of green food coloring. 
I think it gives it that Hulk-like radioactive glow. Want to make the Hulk glasses? Grab my Silhouette cut file! 
Of course we all know that Black Widow is the best Avenger. Even if she does share her name with a spider. 
I picked up a few pre-cut spiders from the Halloween decor aisle and Black-Widowed them up with red craft paper. Then a mini hole punch and some baker’s twine later… The coolest spider-themed garland ever!
