The Avengers: Infinity War world premiere was an event unlike anything I’ve ever seen. To start with, it wasn’t in one theater. It wasn’t in two theaters. It was in three different theaters. The “red” carpet was actually purple, and it worked its way through an insane collection of Marvel movie memorabilia.
I had an amazing time checking out all of the displays with my friends.
And the completely insane part of the night was watching the movie front and center at the Dolby Theater.

That means when the cast took the stage I was just a few feet away. And when the cast walked to their seats, I was only inches away. (And I actually talked to a few of them.) And here’s a random fun fact: RDJ’s personal assistant was sitting on the floor right beside me filming RDJ’s speech. That means there’s a video where you can hear me screaming-a lot-on a phone that is somewhere in the RDJ universe. Another fun fact? Chris Hemsworth filmed the introductions and you can see me in the video he shared on Twitter. And another fun fact? I left the theater walking beside Scarlett Johansson.
Bloggers aren’t usually invited to the after party during Marvel events, but this was a once-in-ten-years occasion. So to the after party we went! That meant that even though I am usually watching my friends chase down celebrity selfies instead of taking part myself, I had to jump in myself a couple of times.
