Visit the master list of all DIY Disney-Inspired Ornaments!
Two interesting things are going on right now. First, my Disney Princess-inspired ornaments are my top post this week. Words cannot express how happy I am knowing there are people just as crazy as me who will look up ornament tutorials nowhere near Christmas. The other thing going on? Beauty and the Beast excitement is at a fever-pitch. (At least among my crowd.) Noting that Belle never made her way into my original ornament post, I couldn’t help but think that a Beauty and the Beast Christmas Ornament was long past due.
This ornament is also crazy-easy to make. You’ll need:
- Plastic Ornament
- Gold Acrylic Paint
- Small Roses
- Glue Dots
You can always go the glitter route like I did with these ornaments, but I wanted to use paint this time. (Mostly because I grabbed my gold paint before I grabbed my gold glitter…)
Take the top off of your ornament, squeeze in paint and swirl until all sides are covered. Pouring the extra paint back into the bottle helps you get those spots at the top of the ornament.
I then used glue dots to attach the rose decorations to the top of my newly gilded ornament. These were found in the scrapbooking aisle. Look there or in the floral section of your craft store for other possible red rose options. Heaver roses might require hot glue to secure.
Squeeze, swirl, glue…those really are all the steps you need to create your own Beauty and the Beast Christmas Ornament! Told you it was easy!
