I love the weather this time of year. It’s the perfect time to sit on the deck and relax with a good book and a cold drink. That’s why this outdoor bar cart is right at home in my backyard. It began as an antique bronze garden cart I found on a recent shopping trip to Big Lots. I knew a bright and cheerful paint job would turn this garden cart into the perfect addition to my own outdoor sanctuary.
It didn’t start out it’s life quite so colorfully.
I fell in love with the design of the garden cart, and although the antique bronze was a perfectly lovely finish as it was, I’m never one to miss a chance to give something a personal touch. A few coats of paint, and my garden cart got a new lease on life as a fun and tropical bar cart.

The checked pattern on the plastic glasses was a perfect match to the bar cart’s new paint job. The yellow lantern started out in the same antiqued bronze as the garden cart, but a quick coat of spray paint and it was right at home in a more colorful environment.
