I’m such a huge fan of The Peanuts. I had so many Peanuts cartoon books when I was a kid, and watching the holiday specials every year was mandatory. That’s why we were in line to see The Peanuts Movie opening week, and why we walked out of the theater thinking the DVD was a must-buy!
To help you get ready for your own Peanuts family movie night, I made some easy Charlie Brown snack cups. This is my favorite kind of craft; it costs less than two dollars and takes less than two minutes. It doesn’t get any better than that!
You’ll need:
Measure the rickrack around the cup and cut off where the ends meet. Do this once for each snack cup you’d like to make.
Apply adhesive to the rickrack using a glue dot runner. I like to do this over a piece of scrap paper to catch any excess glue dots.
Wrap the rickrack around the cups. That’s it! You can use a lighter to slightly melt the edge of the rickrack to avoid fraying, but I skipped that step considering the cups were going in the garbage in a few hours.
Check out the video to see that it really is just that easy!
All you need now is a snack for your cups and The Peanuts Movie on DVD!
And if you’re really lucky, you’ll get the Limited Edition Blu-ray with the adorable Snoopy plush!
