Anxiously awaiting the launch of Disney’s new streaming service? Here’s everything you need to know about the subscription based plan. 

When does Disney+ launch and how much does it cost? 

You can start streaming on the Disney Plus launch date, November 12, 2019. Disney plus costs $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year, coming in well under most other streaming services. Disney+ will be ad-free. 

You can download Disney+ content. 

Make sure you have plenty of memory on your devices. Disney Plus will allow you to download programing so that you can watch even when you’re not online.

Disney+ is the only home streaming service where you’ll be able to go higher, further and faster.

Captain Marvel will be the first theatrical release to have a streaming launch exclusively on Disney+. And it will be available on the first day.

You can customize your Disney+ experience. 

Disney Plus will let you create custom avatars and will support individual user profiles. 

Disney+ is going worldwide. 

Disney Plus will be launching in each major region of the world over the next two years. 

The Walt Disney Signature Collection will be available on Disney+. 

You can experience every movie in the Walt Disney Signature Collection on launch day of the service. This includes Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, Bambi, The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid

All Pixar movies will be available on Disney+ within the first year, and all Pixar shorts will be available at launch.

Catch exclusive new Marvel series on Disney+. 

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will star as Wanda Maximoff and The Vision in the new Disney series WandaVision. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan team up in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Tom Hiddleston returns to star in Loki. 

Visit a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars films on Disney Plus. 

All Star Wars films will launch on Disney Plus within the first year.

Disney+ includes exclusive Star Wars series. 

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian is the first ever live-action Star Wars series, and it will premiere at launch. Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk will return for a series based on Cassian Andor. 

New movies will launch exclusively on Disney+. 

Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader star in the holiday movie Noelle. Tom McCarthy directs the original film Timmy Failure. The book Stargirl becomes a Disney Plus film. Willem Dafoe stars in Togo, an original film based on sled dogs in the Alaskan tundra. A live-action Lady and the Tramp will be available on Disney Plus at launch. 

Natural Geographic will be part of Disney Plus. 

Over 250 hours of content from Natural Geographic, including Academy Award winner Free Solo, will be available on Disney+ at launch. The World According To Jeff Goldblum will also be available at launch on the service. 

Disney Channel/Troy Harvey

Watch your Disney Channel favorites on Disney+. 

At the launch of the service, you’ll be able to catch 5,000 episodes of Disney Channel shows and 100 Disney Channel Original Movies. This includes The Phineas and Ferb Movie and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series

Welcome Fox to Disney Plus. 

The Simpsons exclusive streaming home will be Disney+ starting at launch.
