Do you have your own little princess at home? I have easy and fun Disney Princess Pencil Valentines that are perfect for the last minute DIYer!
You’ll need:
- Disney Princess Pencils
- Princess Confetti
- Glue Dot Runner
- Scissors
- White Cardstock
- Pretzel Rod Bags
- Free Printable
Start by printing out the Valentines on white cardstock. (They’re adapted from the Princess Party Invitations on the Disney Family website.) Cut out each just inside of the black outline.
To get a clean fold, it’s always best to lightly score along your fold line. Although you can use a tool made for this purpose, I put my hands on my flat head screwdriver first and it worked perfectly!
Pretzel rod bags are available in the food supply area of your craft store. They’re the perfect size to hold pencils. I put two pencils in each bag, along with a handful of princess confetti. Look for the pencils and confetti in the princess section of your party supply store.
When using a glue dot runner, it works best to place your valentine face down on a piece of scrap paper, then run the glue dots across the entire surface. Once you’ve covered the back of the valentine completely, place the bag with your pencils in the center of the Valentine and fold to seal it together. You can also use a stapler in a pinch.
Assuming two pencils per bag, each set of pencils and print out will make a total of six Valentines. One bag of confetti is probably more than enough for as many Valentines are you want to make. There’s also plenty of room for small candy if you want to include it.
