It’s no secret that I love the movie Tangled. Within that movie, the lanterns over the water is my favorite scene. It’s why the Tangled bathrooms are one of my favorite spots at the Magic Kingdom. (My nieces think it’s hilarious that I have a favorite bathroom.) I’m still sad I missed out on the Tangled Lantern PhotoPass opportunity during my last visit. That’s why I’m making my own version with this Tangled Lantern Printable.
How To Make Tangled Lanterns
To make your own Tangled Lanterns you’ll need:
- Printable
- Scissors
- Tape
- Gold Parchment Printer Paper
- Clear Contact Paper (Optional)
- Battery Operated Tea Lights (Optional)
Print out your lanterns on the gold parchment printer paper. Cut out each lantern and score along the fold lines. Use clear tape on the inside of the lantern to connect the ends. If you want to make the lanterns a bit more sturdy, cover the back of each printout with clear contact paper.
Use battery operated tea lights if you’d like to light up your lanterns. Or real tea lights…if you promise not to hold me responsible if they catch on fire. Actually, it’s probably better to stick to the battery operated version.
