I think we have time for one last Beauty and the Beast-inpsired craft. When I found Belle and Beast buttons at the craft store, I was determined to turn them into something cool. Inspiration struck and they turned into part of my DIY snow globe. Everyone loves a snow globe, right?
You’ll need:
- Beauty and the Beast Buttons
- Mason Jar Lid
- Small Glass Votive
- Waterproof Glue
- Silicone Caulk
- Glitter
- Waterproof Sealer (Optional)
- Clothes Pins
- Glycerin
- Rhinestone Trim
Start by gluing your buttons in place on the mason jar lid with waterproof glue. Clothes pins can help hold the buttons in place until the glue cures.
The buttons may fade a little in water, so consider giving them a coat of clear waterproof sealer to help them keep their color.
Make sure the buttons fit perfectly inside of the votive before you add water and seal things up.
Fill the votive with filtered water, glitter and a few drops of glycerin. Add a ring of silicone caulk around the rim of the mason jar lid and place it on top of the votive. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours.
Clean up any messy silicone with a craft knife, if needed. Add rhinestone trim to hide the edge.
The final step? Give you Beauty and the Beast Snow Globe a shake!
