If there’s one thing we all need it’s more sleep. You should also eat right. You should exercise. You should avoid stress. All easier said than done, right? Luckily there are ways you can help yourself be at your best. My oh-so-cuddly lavender scented stuffed animals might just help with the sleep part. You can also give yourself up to 24 hours of immune support with Ester-C. Avoiding stress? For that I got nothing…
To make your own lavender scented sleep buddy, first pick up a cuddly stuffed animal. Any type will do. You’ll also need to embrace your inner criminal. Why? Because we’re totally cutting off those tags.
If you don’t have a seam ripper, get one. You’ll find a million ways to use it around the house. It’s the easiest way to open up the seam around the stuffed animals tags. It lets you get in there and just pop the threads without ripping the fabric. Take a cotton ball or a makeup remover pad or whatever you have lying around and give it a few drops of lavender oil. I’m not into essential oils or anything. I just really believe in the sleep inducing powers of lavender. Stuff whatever you just put your lavender oil on inside of the stuffed animal. Trim a piece of velcro to size. Put the velcro on the seams to close everything back up. I’m gonna sign off on this as a no-sew project, but…you’ll probably want to throw a stitch or two in there to keep the velcro from peeling off. The bonus of all of this? You can re-scent your stuffed animal whenever you need because…hello…velcro! And even if the lavender does nothing for you when it comes to sleep…it’s still going to smell nice and be super cuddly. It can’t hurt, right?
In addition to getting that good night’s sleep with your new sleep buddy, supplement your immune health with Ester-C. Ester-C provides Vitamin C in an exclusive form designed to stay with you for up to 24 hours. That means just one tablet a day. Easy to remember, right?
You can find Ester-C in the supplement and vitamin section at Walmart (and it’s currently on rollback!)
