Protect your eyes and look oh so cool while you do it with a pair of DIY Rhinestone sunglasses! “But I’m not very crafty,” you say. Never fear, I say. If you can use a tube of glue, you can make these glasses! 😎
How To Make Rhinestone Sunglasses
To make your own rhinestone sunnies, you’ll need:
- Permanent Glue
- Rhinestones
- Sunglasses
If you select rhinestone stickers for your project, remove the sticky adhesive from the back before you add them to the glasses. You can usually peel it off using just your fingers. If you’re using non-adhesive rhinestones you’ve already finished step one. Yay, you!
Place a tiny dot of permanent glue on the back of your rhinestone and start in the middle of your glasses when you apply them. Continue to apply the rhinestones until you reach the edge of the frame.
When you’re happy with the placement of all of your rhinestones, put your glasses somewhere safe and leave them alone for at least 24 hours. That gives your glue time to cure without risking the rhinestones shifting around. After the glue has cured, your rockstar sunnies are ready to wear!
