I grew up with The Smurfs. That included the collection of tiny Smurf figures I had to take everywhere. Now I have a Smurf I can hang on my tree with this easy and fun DIY Smurf Christmas Ornament.
DIY Smurf Christmas Ornament
To make your ornament, you’ll need an ornament shape from the craft store, along with blue paint, white craft foam, googley eyes, hot glue and a black paint pen or marker.
Cut out ears from craft foam and glue them to your ornament. Give it all a coat of Smurfy-blue paint.
Cut out a hat shape from white craft foam. Use a clothing iron on high heat to gently melt the foam. Five seconds is all it takes! You will be able to give a curve to the tip of your smurf hat while it’s still warm.
Add a craft foam nose and googley eyes with hot glue. Use a small brush or paint pen to add eyebrows and a mouth. That’s all it takes to make the Smurfiest Christmas Ornament ever!
