I created this Thanksgiving Turkey Snack Cake Station in partnership with St. Jude to promote their Thanks and Giving partnership with Dollar General. You can give at the register at Dollar General through December 15, 2019 to support St. Jude kids!
If you look for me during Thanksgiving, I’m the one who’s playing with all of the kids. When my friends at St. Jude invited me to participate in their Dollar General Holiday Decorating Challenge, I knew immediately that I wanted to make something kid-friendly and fun. From that idea, my DIY Thanksgiving Turkey Snack Cake Station was born!
How To Make Thanksgiving Turkey Snack Cakes
I headed to my local Dollar General, with a $25 budget, and easily found my supplies. $25 will buy you all of the snack cakes, candy and frosting you need-even if your family is huge like mine!
Set up your station with plenty of snack cakes, candy and a few piping bags full of vanilla frosting. Then it’s time to let the kids-and kid-like adults-have a blast making their own little turkey snack cakes.
Pro tip: If you don’t have any piping bags handy, a plastic bag with the corner snipped off will work in a pinch!
Looking for more fun? Have a Turkey-decorating contest! That is, have a contest if they last long enough to be judged before they’re gobbled up!
Thanks and Giving With St. Jude and Dollar General
You’ll find everything you need for your Thanksgiving Turkey Snack Cake Station during your next visit to Dollar General. While you’re there, you’ll also get the chance to donate at the register to St. Jude as part of their Thanks and Giving campaign. Dollar General has been a corporate partner of St. Jude since 2006, helping to raise almost $20 million for St. Jude kids!
