DreamWorks Animation has just launched the cutest preschool program! Doug Unplugs, based on the books Doug Unplugged and Doug Unplugs On The Farm, is streaming now exclusively on Apple TV+.
I had the chance to talk about the show with Executive Producers Aliki Theofilopoulos and Jim Nolan about the inspiration for Doug’s best friend Emma and the involvement of author Dan Yaccarino.

About Doug Unplugs
“Doug Unplugs” tells the story of a young robot named Doug who senses there’s more to life than just the facts. While other robots plug in for their daily download, Doug unplugs and journeys into the human world with his best friend Emma to experience its wonders firsthand. Based on Dan Yaccarino’s popular “Doug Unplugged” book series and from DreamWorks Animation, the series will premiere globally with the first seven episodes on Friday, November 13 exclusively on Apple TV+.
