How to make DuckTales Piñatas
Pinata Supplies
- Cardboard Cake Circles
- White Crepe Paper
- White, Green, Red, Blue and Yellow Cardstock
- String
- Scissors
- Masking Tape
- School Glue
- Hot Glue
- Black Marker
To keep the piñatas simple, I used small cake circles from the craft store. That kept me from needing to cut out the round cardboard shapes by hand.
Cut out strips of white cardstock and use masking tape to secure them to the sides of the cardboard circles. Add a string for hanging before sealing up the piñata forms. Don’t forget to leave an opening if you plan to fill it with candy.
Cut out strips of fringe from white crepe paper and use school glue to attach it to your piñata forms. Trim off the excess fringe from around the sides.
Once you’ve finished adding fringe to the front back and sides of your piñatas, it’s time to decorate.
Cut out hats, beaks and eyes from cardstock to create Huey, Dewey and Louie in piñata form.
Use a black marker to draw in the eyes.
Use hot glue to attach the beak. Everything else can be attached with school glue.
Once the glue dries, your DuckTales piñatas are ready to display!
