Ready for a totally epic year of films from Walt Disney Studios? Here’s an early look at the 2019 Disney Film Schedule.

Captain Marvel

The first movie out of the gate in 2019 is Marvel Studio’s Captain Marvel, which is arriving in theaters on March 8, 2019. Captain Marvel was teased in an Infinity War stinger, meaning the character should have an important role in the next Avengers film. Filming for Captain Marvel wrapped on June 6, 2018, so Marvel fans are now anxiously awaiting the first teaser trailer.

The only official Captain Marvel image released so far is one of star Brie Larson’s research trip to Nellis Air Force Base where she met with Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt. A few photos have leaked from filming, but otherwise everything has been held tightly under wraps.

Dumbo

Coming on March 29, 2019, we know more about Disney’s Live Action Dumbo remake than any of the other upcoming films.

We’ve already been treated to a teaser trailer that made literally everyone cry.

There’s even a handful of images from the film. (Click on the photos to enlarge.)

Penguins

Disneynature’s Penguins arrives in theaters in time for Earth Day on April 19, 2019.

Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Penguins” is a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he’s targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who unapologetically threaten his happily ever after.
