If you’re the kind of person who is currently setting up a miniature zip line in your living room, then perhaps this post isn’t for you. If you want an Elf idea you can knock out in just a minute? Then this is your post. We’re starting with a little Rudolph inspiration. Specifically putting a small red rhinestone sticker on the tip of your elf’s nose. And…you’re done. You can find rhinestone stickers in the scrapbooking department at your favorite craft store.
Frosty the Snowman can get a little more complicated…but only if you want to make it more complicated. Look for the holiday minature section of your craft store. (I promise they’ll have one this time of year.) Find a miniature top hat. It’s probably going to come with a tiny sprig of holly. You could put it on your elf as-is and call it a day. Of course Frosty’s hat has a flower. I made a flower out of craft foam, but you could use felt…construction paper…whatever you have available.
When Rudolph and Frosty visit, perhaps they can bring along a copy of The Original Christmas Classics on Blu-Ray and DVD. The set includes Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol, Little Drummer Boy and Cricket on the Hearth. You can find out more at ClassicSanta.com. Oh, and did I mention that one of you was going to win your own copy? Good luck!
