It’s so easy being green! At least some of the time. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about doing what you can when you can to help keep things a little greener. Taking your own bags when you visit the store. Reusing what you can, recycling what you can’t.
It’s also about what you buy. Take a peek at just how much packaging that product is using. Is there something that uses less? Have you followed along with the dirty dozen when selecting your produce? You can even make a difference when you clean. Picking products like Green Works All Purpose Cleaner means you’re using something that is 97% naturally derived. That means no harsh chemical fumes or residue. There’s also the bonus that it works on a variety of surfaces like counters, appliances, stainless steel, sealed granite, chrome, cooktop hoods, sinks and toilets. I have to confess…I’m a little partial to the Green Works Cleaning Wipes, too. They’re so easy to use and they’re compostable. Not that I compost, but…one day when I do they’ll totally go in there.
Want to know another way to be green? Play around on Pinterest! (Yes, it’s true…really…) How does that work? Well, it’s simple. Start by following @greenworksclean on Pinterest. You’ll then create your own pinboard and title it “GreenWorks Games.”
Find, unscramble or complete a word and then find an image to match. So if you find “natural” pin something that you think of when you think natural. Easy, peasy, right? Make sure you tag it with the word it represents and the hashtag #greenworksgames. By playing along you have a chance to win a $500 gift card. Sweeeeeeet! (Don’t forget to email in your complete board once you’re done!)
Need a little help getting started? Take a peek at my board for some inspiration. And some pretty pictures. (It is Pinterest, after all!)
Follow along with the fun on Pinterest. Get the full scoop on the games on the Green Works website. (And hurry! The game ends on October 2nd!)
