Earlier in the year, with the new movie coming out, my blog turned into a one-woman Beauty and the Beast craft factory. I’ve slowed down a bit, but I still managed to pull out one last Beauty and the Beast craft before we wrapped up the year. This time it’s an Enchanted Rose Ornament that takes…maybe five minutes to make? There’s always five minutes to spare when it’s for a little Disney crafting.
The reason this is so easy is that it’s basically an assembly project rather than serious crafting. You’ll need a silk rose, a cloche ornament (I found mine at AC Moore) and hot glue, along with any embellishments you want to add. If the kids want to help, use a kid-friendly glue and clothes pins to hold everything in place while the glue dries.
Add a dollop of hot glue to the bottom of your cloche ornament and position your rose. Hold it in place until the glue has hardened.
Screw on the top of the cloche and embellish. I used ribbon and ribbon roses I already had in my craft stash. This is where the kids can really pitch in and help!
Some pearls left over from my Sofia the First ornament covered the bottom of the cloche.
Finish by adding a little ribbon or string to for hanging and your Enchanted Rose Ornament is ready to hand on the tree!
