Summer is officially here! And if your weather is anything like my weather, you need some frozen treats to help you beat the heat. Why not try these oh-so-easy frozen yogurt dipped fruit clusters?
Earlier in the month I was treated to a wonderful lunch with fellow North Carolina bloggers by the team from CVS. They introduced us to many of the CVS exclusive product lines, including the Gold Emblem Abound label. Each product from Gold Emblem Abound is free of artificial flavors, preservatives and trans fats. I’m a particular fan of all of their fruit-filled offerings. These fuji apple and blueberry clusters they sent home with me are amazing straight from the bag. Of course that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to subject them to a little kitchen experimentation. And I really meant it when I said a little. I dipped them in some Greek yogurt. Then I placed them on a cookie sheet and popped them in the freezer. Then I took them out of the freezer when it was time to snack. Yes, they’ll totally melt if you eat them too slowly. They’re so delicious, though, that I don’t think it will be a problem! They’re the perfect, healthy, cool summer treat.
A big thanks to CVS for the invitation to lunch and all of the treats provided!
