Ready or not, Halloween is almost here! Don’t worry, mummies! (See what I did there?) I have you covered with a cute mummy candy jar and some delicious mummy candy bars. You can knock out both projects in less than an hour!
I used MARS® Bat Bags and MARS® Mad Scientist Bags filled with fun-sized Skittles®, Starburst®, M&M’S®, TWIX®, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY® and 3 MUSKETEERS® candies for my project.

To make your own mummy candy jar, you’ll need:
- A Large Plastic Jar (Like the kind you find filled with pretzels or cheese puffs)
- Cheesecloth
- Large Googly Eyes
- Craft Glue
Cut out narrow strips of cheesecloth. Add squiggles of glue in sections along the sides of the jar and wrap with the cheesecloth strips.
Glue on the googly eyes to finish your mummy candy jar. It makes a great gift for BOOing your neighbors!
To create your mummy candy bars, you’ll need:
- White Chocolate Chips
- Plastic Piping Bag
- Mini Chocolate Chips
Fill the piping bag with the white chocolate chips and place it in the microwave. Heat at half power for 30-second intervals until the chocolate is fully melted. Snip off the end of the piping bag and quickly squeeze back and forth over the candy bars to create the mummy bandages.
Finish off your mummy candy bars with mini chocolate chip eyes.
Bag them up and they make perfect gifts to hand out to your Halloween guests!
