I’m a little obsessed with the caution tape jacket Harley Quinn wears in Birds of Prey. When I saw a version of it in the costume store this year, I knew I had to make something inspired by that jacket. That’s when I realized a wreath would be an easy way to get that look…and it would give me an excuse to buy a roll of caution tape! (That shall be my lazy Halloween decorating this year-just cover everything in caution tape…)
Harley Quinn Caution Tape Wreath
Materials
- Caution Tape
- Assorted Colors of Flag Tape
- Wire Wreath Frame
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Cut strips of caution tape that are approximately 10" in length. Cut those strips in half lengthwise.
- Cut strips of flag tape in 10" lengths.
- Add caution tape and flag tape to wire wreath frame using a lark's head/cow hitch knot. That involves creating a loop from the tape and pulling the tails of the tape through the loop, around the frame.
- Continue to add caution tape and flag tape to the wreath until it's full and fluffy.
This is a great project to work on while watching a movie or binging a series on TV. It’s easy, but it’s definitely not quick!
