For a while now my Wednesday and Friday schedules have been made around two things: Time To Play TV and #TimeToPlayLive. Whenever I can my lunch break is spent with the crew from Time To Play having fun and answering toy trivia.
Well, winning at toy trivia is sort of like getting to Carnegie Hall. It takes practice, practice, practice. But I did get pretty good at it. And the kids in my family have enjoyed some pretty awesome birthdays and Christmases thanks to Time To Play.
Of course all good things must come to an end, and Time To Play TV is no exception. They’re going on hiatus and coming back in June with an all new format. I’m not sure how long it will take me to get used to not spending my lunch hour on Fridays with Jim and Chris. (As a matter of fact I’m pretty confident I’m still in denial about the whole thing.) But things are changing, and my threats to drown myself in a tub filled with Squishy Baff if they didn’t reconsider were seen as the bluff they were.
Today was Time To Play TV’s last live show. And of course today I had a mandatory meeting at work that went right through lunch. I was not happy that I was going to miss the final show. Then at about 12:30 I start getting notifications from Facebook. Apparently I was there at Time To Play TV after all. (At least in spirit!)
