I’ve made more than a few Halloween DIYs involving The Nightmare Before Christmas. It seemed only fair to give Jack and Sally Easter eggs a try, too!
Jack and Sally Easter Eggs
Making your own painted The Nightmare Before Christmas eggs couldn’t be easier. You’ll need:
Start by completely covering one egg in white paint. Paint the other egg in a patchwork of pink, yellow, blue and black paint. If you’ve ever painted (and painted and painted) one of my pumpkins, you’ll love just how easily the eggs suck up the paint. It won’t take a bunch of coats…just one or two!
Use a black paint pen to draw Jack’s face on the white egg. Use the same pen to draw lines, polka dots, hatch marks and swirls on the patchwork egg. Finish by adding stitch marks around each patch on the egg.
That’s it! Your Jack and Sally Easter eggs are ready to display. Or fill a basket. Or hide in the yard. Whatever you do with them, you’ll love just how easy these this The Nightmare Before Christmas DIY was to make!
