Thank you to Torani for sponsoring this Mint Mocha Frappé recipe!
I love my birthday for many reasons, one of which is the free drink I get at the coffee shop. It’s the only time I can order shots and pumps and drizzles until my heart’s content without paying five million dollars for it. Other days? I’ll just take that plain, thanks.
It’s why I’m kind of excited to make my own Mint Mocha Frappé at home. I can have all of the extra pumps. Extra drizzle? Why the heck not!
Mint Mocha Frappé Recipe
The secret is Torani Real Cream Plain Frappé Mix. Sure, you can find frappé recipes online, and while I’m sure they taste just fine, they usually require freezing coffee into ice cubes so that your drink isn’t watered down. That requires effort. And planning ahead. And extra room in your freezer…
Plus they never taste quite the same as the drink your favorite barista makes for you.
With Torani Frappé Mixes you just open the box and pour into your blender to get that creamy coffee house texture. It’s so easy!
I love, love, capital L LOVE mint mocha frappés. Obviously, that was the first at home frappé I needed to master.
You’ll need:
- 5 oz Torani Real Cream Frappé Mix
- 1 Shot Espresso (optional if you use the plain mix, skip it for a creme frappé or if you use the coffee mix)
- 2 cups Ice
- 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder (dark cocoa preferred)
- 3 Tablespoons Torani Peppermint Syrup
- Whipped Cream and Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce (for topping)
Just throw it all in your blender and blend until it’s smooth.
Top with anything your heart desires. Although I do consider whip and drizzle somewhat mandatory…
My preference would have been to use dark cocoa powder, but it’s surprisingly hard to find without special ordering it. I’ll be ready next time.
My favorite part is that you can really customize your drink to your own preferences. I personally will add mint syrup until the mint smacks me in the face. A person with normal tastes can cut this back 2 tablespoons. Do you, boo! Whatever your tastes, get ready to have your favorite coffee house frozen drinks at home in just minutes with Torani Real Cream Frappé Mixes.
