Want to know the one good thing about having Halloween behind us? Craft pumpkins can be purchased for next to nothing at craft stores. Go stock up. Not only will you want a few for next Halloween, but you’ll also want some now for your Thanksgiving decor!
How To Make Pumpkin Luminary Centerpieces
Black pumpkins, white pumpkins, orange pumpkins-they’ll all work. You’re going to cover them all in metallic paint, so where you start won’t matter. If you’re only making a few pumpkins, brushing on metallic craft paint will work. Creating a large batch? Grab some spray paint to save time.
Once your pumpkins are painted, it’s time to grab your drill. Here’s where you can get creative. Mix and match your drill bits and vary the placement of the holes in your pumpkins.
Cut a hole in the bottom of your pumpkin large enough to hold a tea light candle. Placing any on a children’s table? Make sure you use battery operated tea lights for safety. Scatter around a few autumn leaves and your thanksgiving centerpiece is complete!
