If you’re one of the millions who saw Moana over the holiday weekend, chances are your Christmas list grew a little…or a lot! I’m here to help with my top Moana picks for your little Moana or Maui. Or yourself…I totally have Moana gear on my wish list, too!
During Thanksgiving I showed pictures of a few Moana toys to my little cousin. She immediately picked the Moana Classic Doll. Then she ran to her mom saying, “I get Moana!” Well…yes…you get Moana…on Christmas. Let me wrap it first…
The Moana Toddler Doll is at the top of my own wish list. It would have come home with me from LA if my suitcase hadn’t already been stuffed to the gills. She has sand on her toes! Can you stand how cute that is?
I have the Moana Tsum Tsums and I’m refusing to share any of them with anyone. My bestie wants the HeiHei. I told him to get his own…I need the complete set.
Maui’s Light Up Fish Hook is the coolest light up toy since the light saber. I can’t promise it will turn you into a shapeshifter…but I can’t promise that it won’t, either!
All of the Moana plushes are cute, but I have a soft spot for the Pua Plush. I received him in LA, and because of my previously mentioned stuffed suitcase I had to carry him in my arms on my way home. He kept me company through two airports and a four hour layover. If you recently saw an adult with a stuffed pig at LAX, Logan or Raleigh/Durham it was probably me.
The HeiHei Plush was my first Moana purchase, picked up during my recent trip to Walt Disney World. It was a gift for my best friend. It’s the reason I feel absolutely zero guilt for keeping the HeiHei Tsum Tsum all to myself!
The Moana Flip Flops from Havaianas are adorable and come in two different designs. I’m also super jealous that they don’t come in adult sizes. Luckily they do make cute flip flops for adults, too. (Their flip flops were the ones I threw on after the red carpet premiere!)
I’m Funko POP-obsessed, so I was happy to add this Maui Funko POP to my collection! Look for the multiple POP versions of Moana, too! (I have the Hot Topic exclusive version of Young Moana already sitting in my office!)
I have a bit of a dilemma when it comes to the Moana Adventure Canoe Set. I want to keep it for myself. And if I do, I also want to take it out of the package and play with it. And if I play with it, I’ll have to figure out where to keep it in my office toy collection… You see where this is going, right?
You can never have too many books, and Moana and the Ocean will be a beautiful addition to your bookshelf. The artwork is stunning!
I’m officially obsessed with the Moana Deluxe Edition Soundtrack! You’ll want to check out all of the outtakes and demos…they’re my favorite part!

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana, a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Princess & the Frog) and produced by Osnat Shurer (Lifted, One Man Band), Moana sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
