How To Make Mysterio Cupcakes
If you’re making a batch of Mysterio Cupcakes, you’ll need:
- Your Favorite Cupcake Recipe
- Gold Cupcake Wrappers
- Red Fondant
- Blue Food Color
- Clear Plastic Ornaments
- Cotton Candy
Start by baking your favorite cupcakes in gold cupcake wrappers. Cut a hole in the center of the cupcake large enough to hold the top of a plastic Christmas ornament and frost the cupcake. Remove the hanger from your ornaments and wash them with dish soap. Make sure they’re fully dry before you move on to the next step!
Break off small pieces of cotton candy and stuff them inside of the ornament. Place the ornament on top of the cupcake. Please note-cotton candy likes to dissolve when it’s exposed to air. If you won’t be serving the cupcakes right away, place a small piece of plastic wrap over the ornament opening to prolong the life of the cotton candy.
Take a small amount of red fondant and add a drop of blue food color. Work the fondant until the color is evenly distributed. Roll the fondant into a thin sheet and use a knife to cut out a small square. Drap the square of fondant around the ornament to create Mysterio’s cape.
Yes, you can do this even if you’re totally inexperienced with fondant. Yes, I’m totally inexperienced with fondant, so I have total confidence in your ability to do an even better job than me on this one.
