Outdoor Oasis Party Planning Tips

Are you ready for summer entertaining? I have some great tips to help you celebrate your outdoor oasis with the help of Pier 1. I had a blast shopping for my own party. I’m pretty sure I have a wish list a mile long. And that’s after buying everything you see here!

Have you ever wanted to buy those festive paper lanterns but you weren’t sure how you’d display them once you got them home?

I started by picking up some tomato stakes at my local home improvement store. I attached the stakes to my deck using zip ties. I used twine, looping it around the top of each stake and tying it in place. Clothes pins kept the lanterns from sliding around on the twine. I freshened up my outdoor glider with some new throw pillows. Fun party picks from Pier 1 helped me create a healthy and fun dessert. Just use your favorite fruits to create these easy and delicious fruit kabobs! Infused water is so easy to make and it’s the perfect refreshing touch for when you’re entertaining outdoors. I sliced fresh strawberries and limes and let them infuse in my new drink dispenser. When the weather is warm I want to serve light and refreshing snacks rather than heavy meals.

These delicious red pepper, mozzarella and tomato pesto bites can be assembled in only a few minutes! I like them with or without toasting. Keep your party supplies from flying away by making these fun napkin weights. Just fold tissue paper in fourths, add a few rocks and tie with twine! Keep the bugs at bay when you’re entertaining by adding a few citronella tea lights to a festive lantern.
