These printable comic book panels are sponsored by The Brand Connection and Pentel. Create your own one of a kind comic books with pens from their Pop collection!
I’ve been drawing for as long as I’ve been able to hold a pen. Even as an adult, I don’t think I’ve ever been in a lecture or a meeting where I wasn’t drawing something. I won’t bore you with the studies, but trust me-drawing is good for your brain! If your little ones love to doodle, encourage their habit by helping them turn those doodles into comics with this collection of printable comic book panels.
Start with the retro fun pens found in the Pentel Pop collection. Yep, those colorful gel pens we loved in the 90’s are back and better than ever! The Milky collection pens are the ones that started it all. Their smooth gel ink will appear on all types of paper-light, dark, even photo paper, creating colorful pastel lines. The Solar collection combines that smooth gen ink with vibrant neon colors that actually glow under blacklight. Pens in the Sparkle collection add sparkling iridescent magical ink unlike anything you’ve seen before. The ink actually changes color when writing on black or white paper!
Ready to get your little comic book artist started? I created three basic printables with comic book panels they can use. Download all three comic book panels here, here, and here. There’s a 3×3 panel to get them started on their basic ideas, then two Sunday paper styles that can be combined to create your own comic books! What can they create? The sky’s the limit!
After you print out the comic book panels, it’s time for the kids to get to work. They can sketch in their designs. They can color them. They can even combine the Milky, Solar and Sparkle pens to create one of a kind effects.
Each pen contains an extra long barrel and a latex-free grip for comfortable writing and drawing. That means they can work on their comic creations for even longer! This might keep them busy enough to let you finally take some time for yourself. Read a book. Take a nap. Watch your favorite TV show. Maybe even start work on your own comic book? It’s just a thought!
