{Recipe} Cinnamon Apples Three Ways

CB Disclosure

#shopIt’s fall and everyone’s talking apples! I don’t live in an area where apple picking is a typical fall activity. Luckily I can visit my Walmart produce department and still enjoy some great warm apple recipes.

I’ve shared an apple ice cream topping with you before. Now I’m taking the basics of that recipe and turning it into three apple treats perfect for fall!

Crumble Topping
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
Instructions
  1. Mix together until a crumbly dough forms.
  2. Spoon cinnamon applies into a baking dish.
  3. Top with crumble topping and bake at 350 degrees until browned.

#shopGranny Smith apples are my favorite so I use them in pretty much everything! Walmart’s produce department has a huge selection of apples so you’ll be able to choose your favorite for this recipe if you prefer an apple that is less tart.

The first and easiest way to enjoy your cinnamon apples? With just a touch of Reddi-Wip topping. How’s that for simple?

Of course you might prefer a crispy topping for your apples? That’s easy enough to make. (I know the topping looks totally weird but I promise it turns out delicious!)

Easy peasy apple crumble. Who knew something that good would be such a snap to make?

I have one more recipe that’s just as simple as the first two. It starts with refrigerated pie crust. A bowl is the perfect size to use as a make-shift cookie cutter. (Or pie cutter as the case may be…) You can just unroll the dough and cut your first turnover crust. After that you’ll need to take out your rolling pin to make the rest. (Hey, I said it was easy. I didn’t say it was without a little effort!) #shop

Just spoon in your apples and fold over to create your turnover. #shop
Use a fork to crimp the edges. Then just bake according to the directions on the crust packaging.

#shopIt’s the world’s easiest homemade apple turnover!
