I’m starting to notice some trends when I blog about food. I typically refer to me being very busy and needing something easy. I frequently discuss my use of kitchen and recipe hacks. I often feature pasta. And guess what? This post is totally more of the same. I can’t help it. I’m still busy. And now that it’s fall the days are getting shorter. Things are getting cooler. And yes, I still want pasta. That means I’m going to hack a Knorr Pasta Side and use Lipton Natural Energy to make a warm fall beverage. There’s nothing wrong with being predictable, right?
If there’s one thing I love almost as much as pasta, it’s mushrooms. I love me some mushrooms. A package of Alfredo Knorr Pasta Sides is going to make this recipe a snap. I started by cooking some mushrooms in a large pan with a tablespoon of butter. Once the mushrooms were cooked, I added some roasted red peppers and sun dried tomatoes. Look for the jars of each that are labeled julienne cut. That basically removes all prep time from this recipe. Leaving the veggies in the pan, add 1/2 a cup of milk and 1 1/2 cups of water. Once it’s boiling, add the contents of the Pasta Sides bag and reduce heat. Stirring occasionally, cook for about seven minutes. It’s so simple I’m not even going to throw a recipe card up in here. Just cook your veggies and follow the directions on the back of the Pasta Sides bag. Mix it up and throw in some of your favorite vegetables. I stand firmly behind my mushroom, roasted red pepper and sun dried tomato combination, though! I wouldn’t ruin a crazy easy dinner recipe by pairing it with a complicated drink. My Autumn Spiced Tea is simple to make and ridiculously tasty. Just grab your favorite mug and fill it halfway with apple cider. Fill it up the rest of the way with water. Sprinkle on a little pumpkin pie spice, a little sweetener of choice and then throw in a Lipton Natural Energy Tea Bag. Microwave for about a minute, then take it out and stir. That is it. It’s so good. Like seriously delicious. Let everyone else obsess over their pumpkin spice lattes. I’ll be drinking this!
