Sometimes you know you’ll love your hotel as soon as you walk in the door. That was exactly how I felt upon stepping into the lobby of the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. And I’m not just saying that because they had a Starbucks in the lobby…
The hotel is literally across the street from SeaWorld. We weren’t planning a trip to SeaWorld, but we still adored staying here. If you are planning to visit SeaWorld or Aquatica, this is THE hotel for you. The Renaissance embraced their location with an ocean theme, but in a beautiful and elegant way. From the waterfall to the glass aquarium, there were special touches everywhere.
You expect a pool when you visit a hotel in Orlando. The Renaissance at SeaWorld delivers with a gorgeous place to swim and relax. There’s also the R Aqua Zone water park for kids. They can enjoy a slide, water jets, a rain tree and more.
Our Junior Suite was insanely beautiful, quiet and roomy. It included everything you could want including a comfy bed, pull out sofa, spacious bathroom and a mini fridge. Oh, and the coolest pillows. I still think those pillows would look great in my living room. Totally the kind of room you never want to leave. Except there are way too many things to do! There’s a spa, fitness center, multiple restaurants…there’s even ping pong.
That’s right. Ping Pong. And Foosball. I’m pretty sure I saw an arcade somewhere inside, but seriously…who needs an arcade when I can trounce you at Ping Pong?
One of my favorite parts of the hotel were all of the cute and cozy seating areas located throughout the lobby. Perfect spots for relaxing and sucking up the free lobby wifi.
In addition to being a great place to stay for a family vacation, the hotel also offers 185,000 square feet of indoor function space and 20,000 square feet of outdoor event space. It’s great for parties, banquets, meetings, weddings and more.
