Whether you’re a fan of Varchie or think Barchie is end game, this easy to make Riverdale pumpkin is the Halloween DIY for you!
To make your Riverdale pumpkin you’ll need:
- Pumpkins (Real or Craft)
- Paint (Blue or Yellow)
- Felt (Yellow, Blue, White)
- Hot Glue
- Blue Craft Vinyl (Optional)
- Plastic Spider with Gold & Red Craft Paint (Optional)
- Riverdale Template
Start by painting your pumpkin blue or yellow. Spray paint works great for this!
Cut out a yellow felt Riverdale “R” using the printable template. It’s helpful to pin the “R” on your felt while you cut. Glue the “R” to a piece of white felt and trim around the edges. If you chose to paint your pumpkin yellow, you’ll want to glue the yellow and white “R” to a piece of blue felt, then trim around those edges. (If you painted your pumpkin blue you can skip this step.)
Hot glue the “R” to the front of your painted pumpkin. Your Riverdale Halloween decor is complete!
Well, complete unless you’re in the mood for chaos. Create a Cheryl Blossom-inspired touch by adding “HBIC” cut out of blue craft vinyl on the back of the pumpkin. You can cut the vinyl with a digital cutter, or by hand using the provided template. As one final touch, use a little hot glue to add Cheryl’s signature spider brooch. Make the brooch by painting a plastic spider gold and red with metallic craft paint.
