Thanks to Nickelodeon for sponsoring this no-sew tool belt craft to celebrate Rubble & Crew arriving on DVD!
If you’re anything like me, you love a no-sew craft. That’s why I was excited to celebrate Rubble & Crew’s arrival on DVD by making this children’s toy tool belt – without a needle in sight!
Supplies:
- Glue (Hot glue – adults only for this part) or Fabric Glue
- Scissors
- Black Ribbon or Bias Tape
- Yellow, Black, and Gray Felt
Instructions:
- Fold your yellow sheet of felt in half to create the pockets for your tool belt. Unfold and add a line of glue on each side, along with two lines of glue in the middle that are sized to fit your tools. The glue will serve as your “sewing”.
- Fold the felt back in half. (Allow the glue to dry if you used fabric glue. If you used hot glue, you’re ready for the nest step.)
- Glue your yellow pockets to a piece of black felt.
- Fold the top of the black felt over a piece of ribbon or bias tape and glue it into place. This will create the ties for your tool belt.
- Decorate your tool belt by using your extra felt to make Rubble’s patch!
Join Rubble and his family of construction pups as they help expand the growing town of Builder Cove in the all-new DVD Rubble & Crew! Gear up with Rubble and his crew as they build an ice cream shop, a big bike shop in time for the town’s Bike Festival, a fun playground and more! There’s nothing Rubble & Crew can’t build without the right construction equipment!
Rubble & Crew is available on DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment now!
