This Santa Mickey Christmas wreath is easy to make and totally customizable. Use whatever colors and decorations you like to make a wreath that’s one of a kind!
How To Make A Mickey Mouse Shaped Wreath
Start with two inexpensive craft store wreaths. Use wire cutters to remove the garland from one of the wreaths.
Use floral wire to attach the garland to two smaller round forms. (I used an embroidery hoop.) Attach the two smaller wreaths you just made to the larger wreath with more floral wire to form the classic Hidden Mickey shape.
To make Santa Mickey ornaments, start with red ball ornaments. Use painters tape to protect the bottom half, then spray the top half with black paint. I used bamboo kitchen skewers to hold the ornaments while I painted and then stuck the skewers into the ground for them to dry.
Finish off your ornaments with Santa belts. I used black bias tape and gold connectors I found in the jewelry aisle. Attach your belts to the ornaments with hot glue.
Use more hot glue to attach your Santa Mickeys, along with any other embellishments you’d like. After you’ve finished decking out your wreath it will be ready to hang on your door!
