Like a lot of crafty people, I have a long list of projects I’ll get to someday. Thanksgiving is also a woefully neglected holiday when it comes to my DIY attempts. I think it might be because I’m just not into the traditional Thanksgiving color palette.
Clorox 2 encouraged me to visit one of my neglected Pinterest pins and finally stop the inspiration procrastination. To that end, I gave confetti pumpkins a try…and I used scrapbook paper to keep it interesting!
Post Halloween I was able to snag some half pumpkins for next to nothing at the craft store. I already had tons of scrapbook paper and a large circle punch on hand.
This is a fail-proof project. Just punch and decoupage.
I love that I have a mix of traditional fall colors with brighter colors.
The completed pumpkin is a much more “me” Thanksgiving decoration-bright, colorful and just a little different.
No matter what I paint or glue this fall, I know Clorox 2 can help me get rid of those stains. Use it to pre-treat set-in stains you thought would be there forever – even ones that have been through the dryer! For best results, start the washer and add both detergent and product before adding clothes. For extra-dirty clothes, pre-soak the garments before starting in mixture of 1 cap-full of product (to the first line) and 2 gallons of water (the warmest water recommended on the care label). Pre-soak for 30 minutes. For tips on how to get more out of life and laundry, visit http://www.clorox.com.
To help you get past your inspiration procrastination, Clorox 2 is giving one of my readers a prize pack that includes Clorox 2 Stain Remover & Color Booster Liquid, Clorox 2 Pre-Treat Stain Remover Pen, and a $200 Michael’s gift card for your next DIY project!
