It’s a well-established fact that Snow White is my girl. Obviously she had to be my first experiment when I stepped up my Disney PopSocket game! I’m officially obsessed with how cute this glittery Snow White PopSocket turned out!
Snow White PopSocket

Materials
- Blue Extra Fine Glitter
- Red Extra Fine Glitter
- Gold Adhesive Vinyl
- Resin
- Super Glue
Tools
- Minnie Mouse Silicone Mold
- PopSocket
- Resin Tools
Instructions
- Mix resin according to instructions.
- Stir red glitter into a small amount of resin and add it to the bow cavity of the mold.
- Stir blue glitter into the rest of the resin and pour it into the mouse head cavity of the mold.
- Allow resin to cure overnight.
- Carefully remove mouse and bow from the mold. Sand or cut off any rough edges, if necessary.
- Dome the back of blue glitter mouse head and allow resin to sit for a few hours. You can find a full details on how to dome in my Resin 101 post.
- Carefully place PopSocket on the back of mouse head. As long as you have waited a few hours the resin should be tacky enough to keep the PopSocket from shifting around. You will want to keep an eye on this to make sure it doesn't move.
- Allow resin to cure overnight.
- Attach gold glitter vinyl cut using the template to the bottom of the blue mouse head.
- Attach bow to the top of the mousehead with superglue. You will need to hold this in place for a minute or two while the glue dries to keep it from shifting.
- Carefully dome the top of the bow and the mouse head.
- Allow resin to cure overnight.
- Your PopSocket is ready to use!

Grab the image above to use as a template for your vinyl. I used my digital cutter, but it’s such a simple shape that you can easily cut it by hand. It’s also worth noting that I ended up using heat transfer vinyl for this project. Regular adhesive vinyl would have worked perfectly, but I had trouble finding it in the shade of gold I wanted, so I opted for the HTV. You can iron HTV directly onto the resin. Just be careful you don’t use too much heat. All you need is a quick press with your iron, just enough to get the HTV to release from the backing.

I should also mention that I’ve found myself in possession of three mouse molds I’m using to make PopSockets. One is just about 5 cm measured ear to ear, 3 cm across the head, and it’s perfect for making mini PopSockets. The second is just over 6 cm from ear to ear, and 4 cm across the head, and can just barely hold a full-sized PopSocket. The largest is almost 7.5 cm from ear to ear, 5 cm across the head, and easily holds a full-sized PopSocket. The largest mold is the one I used in my original Minnie Mouse PopSocket post. The medium-sized mold is the one I have in the picture above and it’s personally my favorite size. This is something of a Goldilocks situation-you have to figure out which one is just right for you! The bad news here is that the largest of the molds is the only one that is easy to find on Amazon. The rest are inexpensive and readily available on AliExpress…you’ll just have to be patient for shipping as it takes a month, on average, to arrive. But hey, Snow White taught us all about learning to wait, right?
