My campaign photography course has come to it’s end. Now it’s time to look back at what I’ve learned and share favorite pictures from my portfolio.
We started by taking in store photos.
After picking out my favorite grill it was time to get it home and take product shots.
Taking photos of food on the grill was the next assignment.
Next step? Photographing the food on the plate.
Finally it was time to bring everything together for a grilling party. (And capture pictures!)
I’ve learned so much through this course. From editing photos, to lighting, to composition – it’s all been a part of my journey to better photography. I know that I’m much more purposeful in my photos now. (Even though I still employ the philosophy of “take a ton of pictures and see what works”.) I love finding unique angles and look for patterns and repetition in photos. Help with lighting has probably been the most valuable lesson to me.
I’m so thankful for this course and to Sears for their generous sponsorship. Thank you also to my wonderful instructor and classmates for their support. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn and grow with my photography and I plan on following along with all of you as you continue to learn and grow!
