I couldn’t let the 4th of July pass us by without making a special Star Spangled Slime to celebrate the occasion!
How do you make your own 4th of July slime? You’ll need:
- Clear Glue
- Borax
- Patriotic Confetti
- Large Glitter in Red or Blue (Optional)
- Water
- Bowls
- Spoons
I found the confetti at my local party store. Everything else was from the craft store with the exception of borax, which is sold with laundry detergent.
Take two bowls, each filled with 1/4 cup of water. Add 1/4 cup of clear glue to one bowl and stir well. Sprinkle large glitter into glue mixture, if desired. Add 1/4 teaspoon of borax to the other bowl and stir until it’s dissolved.
Slowly add the borax mixture to the glue mixture until slime begins to form.
Add star confetti to slime and work it in with your hands. Store your star spangled slime in a sealed container when not in use.
